20th Feb 2015 (財神到 – Sam Hui)

The song for today is “財神到” by Sam Hui. This is a classic Chinese year song. It was released in 1978, but to date, it is still one of the top choice songs for Chinese New Year. The direct English translation of the title is “Fortune God arrived”.

The lyrics of the song are just saying that the fortune god had arrived and that everyone will be happy.  It said, Fortune god arrived, Fortune god arrived, doing nice things will result in good fortune. Fortune god arrived, Fortune god arrived, gain your money from the right source. Fortune god arrived, Fortune god arrived, walk a few step faster, if he appreciated you, you will have a good future. Everyone is celebrating for new year, very happy. Together we wish you luck and good health. Also wish you to be promoted this year, happiness all day around and a smooth future. Wish that every couple will love and care for each other. Always have luck accompanying you, so nothing to worry about. Meeting up with relatives and friends and have so many things that you can talk about. New Year is full of happiness, it even shown on your face. La La La, Fortune god arrived, Fortune god arrived, walk a few step faster, if he appreciated you, you will have a good future. Wish that every pair will be able to get married. Also wish every worker to achieve a lot. No one will be fighting, always happy and nothing to worry about. Listen to the song to relax and throw away sadness. Everyone is celebrating for New Year, wishing the Fortune god to arrive. Hope you will enjoy the song :D
