The
song that I chose for today is “忘記他” by Teresa Teng. Teresa was very
famous through the 70’s to early 90’s. She is recognised as one of the most
iconic Chinese singer, it was rare back in her time (even now) to get into the
Japanese music market and become successful. This song is one of her most
popular songs. The direct English translation of the title is “Forget him”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that forget him is like
forgetting everything. It also equals to giving up direction and losing
yourself. Forget him is equals to forgetting happiness and locking up your
heart with sadness. He was the only one that could get her to like herself. He
also let her to use her love to turn normal things beautiful. Forget him, but
how, she feels that he is engraved into her bones forever. Hope you will like
