The
song that I chose for today is “阿琴” by Patrick Tang. Personally I
quite like this song, but it was never really a big hit. The direct English translation
is “Ar Piano”, here it is referring to a person rather than the object piano.
The lyrics
of the song are about love and music. It begins with the protagonist told us
that he was learning how to play piano, yet he is stupid and naïve, so when he
got things wrong he was worry to asked. He know that he was not bourn as a pianist,
but he think that he is luck to have the chance to learn piano with her. He
wishes that he could get better on the piano if he practise more, but it seems
that the more practise, the worse he get and this seems to get her try to get
away from him. He thinks that the only way for them to be a match is for him to
become a broken keyboard, then at least he would played a few notes for her. No
matter how many times he practise, he is still not perfect at playing the
piano. He can only blame himself for being stupid and he could never get her
excited. He thought that if he practise, perhaps one day he would be so good that
she will be closer to him, but that never happened. Hope you will like the
